Venue and accommodation
How to get to the conference venue
DGP 2026 takes place on the GeoCampus Lankwitz of the Freie Universität Berlin, Malteserstr. 74-100, Berlin, Germany, in building G. The building has a free barrier entrance and an elevator for access to the lecture room on the second floor (G202). The campus also has a free parking garage (entrance from Preysingstr.) open for guests.
The closest bus stations are Emmichstr. (bus line X83, connecting to the train stations S Lankwitz, line S25/S26, and a bit further away S Rathaus Steglitz, lines S1 as well as U9) and Am Gemeindepark (bus line 283, connecting to train station S Marienfelde, train line S2).
Tickets for bus and train/metro can be bought at the train stations, when entering the bus (no cash), or via the BVG app.
Accommodation
Accommodation in Berlin can be found on traditional booking platforms.
The venue of the conference can be reached via busses from Southern Berlin (especially from train stations S Rathaus Steglitz, S Marienfelde and S Lichterfelde Ost) connected to the train lines S1, S2, S25 and S26.
Accommodation close to these train lines or bus stations is therefore recommended, for example:

- 1 hour walk to campus
- 15 minute bus ride via Steglitz (X83)
Holiday Inn - the niu, Dwarf Berlin Schöneberg by IHG
- 35 minute train and then bus ride via S Schöneberg to Rathaus Steglitz, then bus to Emmichstr. (S1 and X83)
- Closest to City Centre
Hotel Morgenland - Lichterfelde
- 1 hour walk to campus
- 30-35 minute bus ride via Lichterfelde Ost (X11 and X83)
Miles Hotel Berlin - Lichterfelde
- 40 minute walk to campus
- 20-25 minute bus ride via Lichterfelde Ost (284/184/M11 and X83) or train and bus (S25 and X83)
