Looking into the planetary interiors via their Love-numbers

In 2016, we started an observational program in Berlin to measure the k2 fluid Love-number of exoplanets via their transit light curves as well as radial velocity curves. This lead to two successful PhD defenses as well as to measurement of k2 Love-numbers of three exoplanets: WASP-121b, WASP-18Ab, WASP-19Ab and constraining its value in a fourth case: WASP-43b. This last system looks extreme challenging and its nature can be understood only if it shows superrotation, or if there is a second planet in the system. We did not find evidence for the latter.
This observational programme continues. In this talk I review the methodology of such measurements, I summarize all existing Love number data and present updated results on WASP-18Ab and a first estimate on the Love number of WASP-12b.
